We have some amazing Christmas events coming up at The Compass that we don’t want you to miss, starting with an unforgettable evening of music and storytelling with Emma Nissen on December 9th.
The in-person concert is sold out, but we are providing an incredibly high-quality, interactive livestream that will make you feel like you’re right there with Emma. You’ll be able to ask Emma questions, vote for which songs you want to hear next, and hear every sumptuous note in high-definition.
FRIDAY DECEMBER 20th
In the spirit of traditions like midnight mass and choral evensong/vespers, we invite you to enjoy Christmas Evensong, performed by Sound of Ages (you might remember them from Restore).
We'll enjoy exquisite vocal music and thoughtful narrations—plus carols to sing together. Christmas Evensong will infuse quiet beauty into your family's holiday celebration.
TUESDAY DECEMBER 10TH
Join singer Jenn Blosil and scholar Mandy Green for an evening of Christmas music and storytelling about Jesus and the divine feminine.
OTHER UPCOMING EVENTS
TOMORROW, DECEMBER 6TH
Join Aubrey Chaves, Hannah Packard Crowther, and George Handley as we discuss the newest book from Faith Matters, Gracing. Plus, Michael McLean will perform an original song inspired by the book.
Refreshments will be provided. Tickets are free but limited, so reserve yours today!
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8TH
Wider Circles is Faith Matters’ monthly interfaith gathering. Each month, come hear a different faith leader share a meaningful practice, reading, or idea from their tradition, learn about opportunities to partner together in service, and have the opportunity to ask them anything—no bad questions.
Our first guest for this series is Rabbi Samuel L. Spector of the Kol Ami Congregation. Join us December 8th at 6pm and hear from Rabbi Spector on his Jewish faith and community.
You can also support the broader Faith Matters Foundation mission by renting out The Compass for your own private events, such as weddings, celebrations, recitals or company retreats. Click below to inquire.
